Normally, Hulu subscribers pay $9.99 per month for the privilege of ad interrupted (okay, they call it ad supported) streaming. In the spirit of Black Friday, Hulu is currently offering an entire year of the service for just .99 a month—90% off!—but you have to sign up by Dec. 2 to get this deal.
For $12, you'll get what normally costs $120. As a Hulu subscriber, I consider this a no brainer. I'm consistently surprised at how much content is on the service. It's not just the original shows like English Teacher, The Bear, and Only Murders in the Building ; you can also access a ton of primetime content via Hulu, or even subscribe to many premium channels through the platform. It has legitimately become my online hub for all my streaming.
If you want yet more streaming options, you can also grab Disney+ on top of your Hulu subscription for an extra $2 a month for the year (the ad-supported bundle normally goes for $10.99 a month). If you've got kids, love Marvel, or desperately want to rewatch all of Boy Meets World, it's worth considering.
Remember, these plans still come with ads, and I won't say they're not annoying, but they're somehow less annoying than Netflix's ads. I don't know how I feel about The Handmaid's Tale being interrupted for a word from the corporate sponsors, but I can put up with a lot fora 90% savings.
